I just want to thank Ford for saving me and my family. On 1/10/2012 I was driving my Ford Escape on a local hwy. In the suv was my 11 year old daughter, my 73 year old mother and I. I was driving back from taking my daughter from a doctor’s check-up. When I was driving back coming to an intersection were cross traffic has to stop. The driver of the other car did not stop at the stop sign we crashed and my escape flipped and rolled on to its passenger side of the car were my mother was pinned in side and when the fire department arrived they had to cut the roof of the car to get my mother out. She suffered a few cracked ribs and black and blue marks on her. But thanks to fords design of the side air bags I think it saved our lives because of the great design. My daughter and I only got some aches and pains we were able to crawl out of the back window. All I thought was of my son and didn’t want to leave him behind without a mother but thanks again to Ford’s design that didn’t happen. I am glad for insurance to help out in paying off the car that got wrecked but we can’t afford to buy a new car right now. But when we do, we are going to get another Ford so it will protect my family again.
