Please make daytime driving lamps (DDL) standard safety operating equipment across the entire product line. I first encountered Canadian-built Fords in the mid-1990's with lamps, able to see them in the road glare long before being able to see the vehicle itself. My dealer tells me that DDL is standard in fleet orders. How much could a switch or relay add to the cost? Why not DDL for Ford consumers? If not standard, at least make DDL a dealer-install option. As a shareholder and owner of new Fords (Mustang, Thunderbird, Escape, Torino...) continuously since 1965, I ask corporate to do the right thing... daytime driving lamps! Thanks.
