Close Call On Highway 400 Southbound

I always wanted a sturdy vehicle, and after years of owning Hondas, I went with the Escape approximately 2 years ago. Today, I’m most thankful I was driving the Escape on Highway 400, when a large sheet of ice flying off another vehicle, hit my roof near the sunroof. There was a loud bang and the Escape shuddered. I was able to safely pull off the road into a nearby On Route near Canada’s Wonderland. Upon exiting my Escape, I checked the roof, the front, the back, everywhere and have not been able to find any damage. I collected my nerves and continued on my way home. I have to say, a hit like that would have destroyed a smaller or less sturdy vehicle. I thank my lucky stars I wasn’t injured, and things could have been a lot worse. Ford Built Tough. It is Forever Ford in my opinion. Thank you for building an awesome vehicle.  And Marigold at Ford Canada, thank you for the warming response to my email …
