260,000 Mile Escape
FEB
02

I hear people say that once their car hits 150,000 miles, it’s time to get a new one. That was 110,000 miles ago for my Escape.

I recommend the Ford Escape to anyone who is looking for a versatile and good mileage vehicle. The Escape does it all. I haul grain and hay for horses, take it off roading on the farm, and pull vehicles out of ditches during snow storms with it. Plus I drive in downtown stop and go traffic every day. The Escape knows no boundaries. I’ll own another one, but I’ll never sell this one!

Jeff L Duratec engines are tough. I had a 1995 Contour 2.5 that I sold at 177,000 miles and the guys son rolled it into a ditch at 250,000 miles. The car still had the original clutch in it when he killed it.

J. B I'm sure you must have good upkeep on it. What do you do to make it last so long? Thanks.
