While traveling on vacation in July 2010, our Flex was hit in the passenger side center at about 45 mph by a full-size Chevy pickup. All safety features – from the engine shut off to the sidecurtain airbags and accident warning all worked perfectly. With nearly $16,000 in damage to our Flex, my wife, our 3 children and I all walked away completely unharmed – and the Flex remained driveable!!! We were without it for 3 months while it was expertly repaired by a Ford-authorized center and we’ve been so happy since to have it back. Our Flex – our steel angel.
