I have to put out there my latest C-Max story. While driving through northern Missouri on July 22, I was sprayed with road tar. When we stopped to inspect the damage, I was just heartsick. There were black spider veins of tar all over the front and side mirrors of my beautiful white C-Max. The next morning my husband took my car back to the dealership that sold me the car. It was detailed and ready for me in just a couple hours. They not only did an awesome job of removing the tar off, but they also charged me nothing! Who could ever complain about service like that! Thank you to Witham Auto Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa (and detailer Will) for the great customer service!

I am a member of mustang 6g, where we are anxiously waiting for our retail ordered Mustangs.  Some enthusiasts are starting to lose faith as new orders are being scheduled and they have been waiting since May.  Another member posted a great idea to introduce a little more fairness into the system.  I added to it with my own idea.  It goes like this: Background:  the Mustang faithful are becoming very upset that their orders are being processed randomly and according to dealer allocations out of our control - not in the order in which they were received.  Some people have been waiting since the open of order bank in May, and don't even have a vin number and are still in Order Processing.  There are a few thousand of us Mustang enthusiasts on this forum and there has to be a better way.   Solution:  Allow bumping up priority on earlier orders for those who have waited much longer for their new Mustang.  We could contact Ford Customer Service on the board and give our order and dealer number.  Based on when we ordered, we would have our order priority changed by subtracting the number of months from 10.  For example, someone who placed an order in May when the banks opened would have their priority changed to 6.  Because 10 - 4 months wait = 6.  This would introduce some more fairness into the system and allow the devoted Mustang fans to get their car sooner.  It just isn't fair that people have been waiting >4 months, and any average Joe will be able to go to the dealer and pick up one from the lot in a few weeks, well before the people who custom ordered get theirs.  Who's with me?
