April 19, 2012 Shelby on a “DYNOJET” checking for a base-line idea of what he has.
Advertised as 500 Horses, I know this is the engine, but what is it at the rear wheels.
MAX RWHP: 454.4 MAX RWT: 447.3
Great numbers, but let’s go for the full 500 at the rear.
#1. BORLA cat backs installed.
#2. FORD Racing Performance Products, 113mm Cold Air Kit w/Premium ProCall Flash Tool.
August 22, 2012 installed FRPP Air Kit, uploaded the new program. Have to drive for a little while and let every thing click.
October 18, 2012, back to the “DYNOJET”. The result, WOW!!!
MAX RWHP: 505.3 MAX RWT: 480.4.
Now this is what it should be, Thankyou SVT, FORD, and CARROLL SHELBY!

I would like to see the 260ci V8 make a come back for the mustang or for another rear wheel drive vehicle. The 5.0 coyote engine is a great engine, but C.A.F.E. requirements are going to keep getting higher and by 2025 the average fuel economy rating will be around 52.6 mpg with that in mind the 260ci would not only save more fuel, but it will still provide the power people demand only in a smaller package.
