In 2003 I was late for work and driving my 1999 Mustang v6 3.8L with 120,000 miles on it and dropped something in the floor. Trying to grab it one tire dropped off the edge of the road around a curve and I lost control, no matter how hard I struggled I couldn’t regain control. I slammed into a 3 foot high brick wall clearing it out and rolled twice! A couple of guys across the street happen to see the whole thing. They came over with a phone in ones hand as I was already climbing out of the car. I was okay with no scratches or nothing. The guy with the phone said to me he was getting ready to call 911 he thought they were going to pull a dead body out of that mustang. I now have a 1999 Mustang V6 3.8L exactly the same as the one I totaled and it has 225,000 miles on it and runs perfect with no service engine light on, never misses a beat! I’ve owned a 2007 Chevy SIlverado Crew Cab 5.3L V8 and it was junk I couldn’t keep it out the garage! I had a lifter replaced on it with only 18,000 miles and countless other stuff. I’ve had the best luck out of Fords and thats what I’m sticking to. My little brother totaled a 2006 Pontiac G6 and the seat belt didn’t lock up and the air bags didn’t go off and it was a head on collision and his head went through the windshield. Needless to say I and him will be buying Fords from now on because you can count on Ford when it matters most!
