I was in college in the mid 60’s and needed a car. My sister had a used 1965 Mustang coupe with a 200 CID six cylinder and a 3 speed manual trans. It was a very basic mustang but I drove that car until I graduated in 1969. It never failed to start even in the brutal, -20° F winters in Milwaukee, WI. When I graduated I started working at Ford in Powertrain Engineering and treated myself to a new 1969 Mustang Mach I. Over the years I have thought about my Little Red and missed it and all the fun I had in it. Now that I have retired I went out and found a 1964 1/2 Red Mustang Convertible and restored it back to showroom new – all original. It brings back a lot of memories – all good!!
