Giving Birth

This may seem a little weird but its not common, On Oct.27 2009 i started having labor pains, Here in Hawaii everything is so close but it was about 8:00 am and traffic here is horrible. My husband and i left to the hospital expecting a normal delivery and no problems, well like i said traffic is horrible here what would of been 30 mins to the hospital ended up as an hour drive with my husband driving down the side lanes and finally calling for a police escort, the whole time this was going on i went into labor while sitting in the front seat and holding onto anything in the car. I gave birth to our daughter 10 mins away from the hospital in the front seat of our fusion!! With all the crazy driving screaming and yelling we got there safe with our new little girl and no damages to the car inside and out! I’ve got to say thank you Ford for making a spacious Safe car that got us safely to the hospital…

jennifer bergerson Honestly it's a nice statement, not too many new age cars are doing great things like the ford line. give them some credit. Ford has been a great company and honestly in times like these I am proud to say I stand by Ford.

Jive Dave Thank you Ford? Any car of similar size could have provided the requisite space. Heck, you probably would have been just as well off in a decent carriage from the 19th century, although if you feel the car did the job more comfortably than a horse and buggy, you could thank the Frenchman, Nicholas Joseph Cugnot, for having invented the automobile, in 1769. Alternatively, you might thank the USA for providing the infrastructure. Or thank the Milky Way Galaxy for having provided the conditions for Earth to grow into an advanced life supporting planet.

Several years ago my husband and I drove a Ford turbo diesel wagon while on vacation with our kids in England. We loved the space, the fuel economy and the handling. Why don't they make this in American, we wondered. Now that we are actively car shopping, we are looking at a turbo diesel wagon (won't mention the manufacturer, but yes it is Europian). I thought I should make a comparison to what American manufacturers have to offer. My brother in Canada used to drive a Ford Focus Wagon, so I started to look at this site. What! Am I correct? The Ford Focus wagon is not available in the US! For sake of cargo space and fuel economy, please revisit the sport wagon. And if you think the American public is not interested, look at the sales of Subaru. Thanks.
