For the past 16 years I have had 3 Lincoln town cars. I have enjoyed them but this last one seemed to just love gasoline. From April 1 to April 12th this month I put 100 dollars worth of gas in it. So I decided to get new Ford Fusion Hybrid. I am so in love. I just took a 21 mile trip down town to Sacramento and got 41.2 miles per gallon. NOW THAT IS PUTTING FUN BACK IN DRIVING. I picked Ford because it is American and also Ford did not take bail out money. I am really working on buying American. If you are looking for a great hybrid this is it!!!!! Happy Shopping )

Michael McManus Is Ford shutting down Lincoln Town Car production? seems like this story is subtly hinting at that. I still love my Ford Explorer, even though MPG is terrible.

MF @Dominick, it is assembled in Mexico, but engineered in the U.S., and most importantly, profits go to the U.S.!

Dominick How American is it if it's built in Mexico? Further, Ford didn't get the same bailout as GM or Chrysler, but they sure had their hands out for the $5,900,000,000.00 in Department of Energy funds.

Dan Yochelson I bought my 2011 Ford Fusion in December, 2010. I just hit 7k miles this weekend. My long term (past 3k miles) overall fuel economy is 39.7 mpg! I know I can get to 40, I just know it! :) I love my Sprout.
