As a mechanic at an independent shop I see all makes and models. i’ve seen brand new chevys, nissans, and dodges all have problems even before they hit 90k most of them leak oil bad at around 40k miles. dodge’s are famous for PCM issuse’s. Toyata’s, lets face it anyone of those built after 2004 have all gone down hill with quality. My ford fusion has rolled 110k miles still not a single oil leak any where not even the slightest seep coming from any where. I love showing off how great of a car it is to the other mechanics when I do the oil changes. anther way I know how strong the car was built because after 110k Miles it also has never needed an alignment and (yes who hasnt slamed in to a pot hole the size of the US deficit) has never warn tires and never pulled. most cars need alignments every year. To any one out there shoping for a car make the best choice and purchase a ford. OR if you prefer to keep your local mechanic employed by something else.
