Terrible Accident, Unbelieveable Safety Performace!

I am a full time college student. I purchased a 2002 Ford Focus right after graduating high school in 2008. I choose to purchase the Focus because needed a reliable car to take me to and from College, and I knew that it would be reliable. It had over 78,000 miles on it, but it ran like it was brand new. In late October of 2009, I was on my way home from class, driving home. The car in front of me stopped suddenly. I slowed down on time, with little room to spare, however, the car behind me hit me at 30-40mph, which also made my front end hit the car in front of me. My car has hit at both ends. I did not receive a ticket, but my car was totaled, COMPLETELY. It held up unbelievably. I walked away fine, which was awesome. Thankfully, I had full coverage on my Focus, and I eventually purchased a 2006 Ford Fusion! My dad worked for Ford for 30+ years (now retired), and we only drive fords! Unbelievably reliable, both driving and safety wise!

Granted, not a new idea. But consider the new 200hp diesel engine mated to a plug-in hybrid system with Ford select-shift tranny. Throw that in the new Fusion, Ranger, Taurus, Escape, Edge, Flex. Diesel is here to stay, despite what mainstream media and huge corporations want you to think, yes it is efficient, highly durable, and cost effective. The 2.2L Duratorq engine puts out 200hp and 310ft/lbs... Come on people, we should be fighting Ford for this engine in America!
