500,000 And Many More To Come..

I purchased my 2000 Focus from the showroom floor on January 4, 2000 Sunland Ford in Victorville, Ca.  It has taken me to and from work on a daily basis for the past 13 years.  It has been driven across our country twice.  It has never let me down or left me stranded. I have kept up all my maintenance: oil changes, tune ups and made sure I had proper tire pressure.  Besides replacing the cylinder head in June 2013 with 450,000 miles on the car, I haven’t had to replace anything else, I still have the original clutch with no shifting problems.  I have used Castrol oil and Lucas oil additives only, I still average 31-32 mpg on every tank of gas. I do not burn or leak oil and it doesn’t smoke when I cold start it.  I intend to keep on driving my Focus till who knows when, no reason to get rid of it when she’s running so well. Thanks to my good friend from school, who went on to become a Ford mechanic, who has helped me keep her running the same way for the past 13 years. Thank You to Ford for making a car that has kept me safe, and is very reliable.
