Well Built Tempo That Just Wouldn't Quit

In 1992, I was 18. I was driving to work and had to turn left onto a 4 lane divided highway. At the first two lanes, I saw a vehicle in the right hand lane that was turning onto my street. Figuring the coast was clear, I proceeded. At the last moment I realized that there was a 1980’s F-150 in the blind spot of the turning car, that I couldn’t see. My Tempo struck the passenger door of the F150, which was traveling at 60mph. We both emerged without a scratch. My Tempo lost its entire front half from the tires forward. She wasn’t totaled but had over $3,000 damage. Once rebuilt, I got many more miles after that. Just further proof, the best built, best selling vehicles wear that Blue Oval.
