I had moved to RI and was looking for a car. I saw the Ford Fairmont and instantly liked it. I did not have a credit history, so I went to my bank, asked to see the bank manager and proceeded to ask him if he would loan me the money to buy the car. I promised him I would pay off the loan and if he would take a chance on me. I must of made an impression, so he put in a good word for me to get the loan. I bought the car, paid off the loan and thanked him for trusting me. Years later I saw a 1986 Ford T- Bird , traded in the Fairmont and bought a brand new shiny red T- Bird.
