1966 Fairlane 500

This was the car my dad owned at the time I got my driver’s license. It was a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500. Red with a black interior. It had a 289 small block , and nice wire hubcaps. A pretty little car that I would love to have today. I now own a 2010 Taurus with a 3.5 V6 that accelerates better and get better mileage. The safety features are incredible and the sync/satellite radio is a option that I love. But I would still like a Red 66 Fairlane 500. My dad also had a 1969 Torino GT Cobra edition that I would like to have but alas as I commute 120 miles a day, the 428 Cobra Jet engine might not be the best choice.
