Magica Ghia
MAY
08

My family always owned cars from Fiat, then Volvo and Mercedes. One day my Dad came home very proud with a light blue Ford Escort Ghia series and he spent almost all dinners in the next weeks to convince all his kids (five ladies and two boys) how the new car was fantastic and reliable. Winter was arriving and living in a city north of Italy cold and snow were forecasted. It was one of the most freezy winter season and often the traditional Fiat and Mercedes vehicles had problems to strat the engine in the morning. But the Ford Escort never “lost one call” and became the rescue car for the whole family and got the nickname of “magica Ghia” where “magica” stays for magic….
