My First Car.....a Ford, Of Course !

In 1952, when I was 12 years old, my dad bought our family a brand new Ford, a 1952 V8 Customline 2 door sedan, light tan, and stick shift. I loved that car, and 4 years later, a few months before my 16th birthday, when I would be able to get my license, I bought a used Ford, identical to that ‘52 we had 4 years earlier, except that mine was light green. By the time I was able to get my license and drive it, I had shaved the hood and trunk, installed a custom grill and taillights, lowered it, added dual exhausts with glasspacks, custom wheelcovers, and new seat covers. Loved that Ford, and it was the best sounding one of many I owned until my latest, a new 5.0 GT convertible in Race Red.
