I service a 2004 Crown Vic where I work. Have taken care of it since new, travels back and forth from Las Vegas NV to L.A. CA. almost everyday. Still has same engine, trans, rear end, shocks, steering, same alignment, gets 100 K out of a set of tires. Engine use’s no oil between oil changes, doesn’t leak any fluids. It will hit by end of 2012. Have all service records since new. The 4.6 is still strong on take off and passing on the freeway. Trans fluid still smells good at time of services. Have only changed plugs, coils, sensors, cat cans, water pumps, alternators, etc. No major work ever required. How about a even trade at 1,000,000 miles so the factory can tear it down and inspect it.
