Can we come up with a way to communicate with 911 via Satellite? We go to northern michigan once a year and have no cell phone coverage up there. Two trips ago a person in our group had an accident and had no way to dial for help. It was 15 degrees outside and if it wasnt for a car passing by she would have been stranded. She wants to get a Chevy because of the onstar capabilities. I would think there would be a way to have a communication with SAT if the airbags deploy or a way you can press a button on the dash.
