Driving down the interstate I noticed 2 cars on the shoulder. one stalled with the hood up and the other facing the other with the hood up with a jumper cable connected to start.
Thus. the operating car had to "dangerously" turn around in traffic to face the stalled vehicle to make up battery connection. What a dangerous safety risk .
My idea is to have a small battery connection port in the rear (possibly under and out of vision) that you can connect jumper cables from the rear of a car instead of having to dangerously turn around. This emergency jump start port can come directly from the main battery with a tamper proof locking port. Hope this concept "sparks" some safe jump starting concepts. Thanks, Bob Brandt, Raleigh NC
