ignition options
the newer 2013 escape titaium does not allow for an option not to have the push button start. the option of having a key vs push button should be an option as i take fishing and hunting trips where i want to make sure any one in my party has full access to my vehicle in an emergency. i have been informed by several people that occions have occured where with the push button people have returned to there vehicles to find the car won't start due to a dead battery attributited to the push button ignition.

Mike H The data exchange with the car works even when the battery inside the key is dead, and the car can still be started with the remote unit nearby. Ignore the urban legends.
