Heat related deaths
Motion detectors inside the vehicle that come on after ignition is turned off and the doors are closed. If a child or pet is left in the vehicle they will be detected and an alarm will sound, hopefully alerting the parent or owner before a possible tragedy.

Patti Dempsey The car should sound an alarm when it is turned off until all seat belts are undone. This would reming the driver of any car seats or carriers that are belted in. If other passengers are staying in the car they can rebuckle when the driver returns and the car is started. Most cars already alarm if the seatbelts are not on and the car is moving. A small child cannot know and protect themselves from this growing danger!
