While driving in relatively dense fog this morning and very pleased that the cars coming towards me had their headlights on, I could not tell whether or not my headlights were on. That was because it was not dark. The sun was shining brightly above the fog so it was fairly bright out. As a former product planner I thought about what could be done to help drivers know when their headlights are on. I thought about adding a small light to the instrument cluster that would be lit when the headlights are on. That is something you might want to consider. It would have helped me this morning.
