All my past Explorers have had automatic door locks which happen to be perfectly positioned so that they pinch the heck out of your arm if you happen to be using the windowsill as an armrest! By positioning the locks closer to the front of the door, this would not happen. The height of the built-in armrests are designed for larger passengers, not women or smaller people.
