I would like a vehicle designed for the family that has multiple children so they are able to get out of the third row without climbing over the second row. I also would like a vehicle affordable for a family that is living pay check by pay check and will not have to force the family to decide to give something else up just to be able to own a car that is fesible for a large family

Randy E Ford does make a van, but the E-150 is large, guzzles gas (compared to an Explorer or Flex), and not exactly comfortable unless you get a conversion which will put you in the $50-60k range. Too much for most middle class families. Though they are great vehicles for churches and schools and daycare centers. I read an article that Ford is bringing a 7 passenger version of the Transit Connect to the states in 2014. I doubt it will be available with a manual transmission or diesel like in Europe though. 3 months(s) ago via Ford Social
paul crabtree the ford flex would be ideal,,except,,it is front wheel drive[not dependable] no small v-8,,no stick shift,,no rear wheel drive,,no suicide doors on the rear for easy entry and exit,,no trailer towing capability,,too expensive initially,,not for poor people...but it is the roomiest car that ford makes,,it is also the only one i can easily get in and out of,,but i don't think i should have to pay 40,000 for a car i can fit in,,,so i bought a honda fit,,which i can get in and out of,,and it did not cost me 40k,,and it is a stick shift...come on ford get with the program and make cars that people want,,and do not forget the suicide doors for the rear of the sedans.... 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
