Sport Models
It is funny that the Sport models of the Edge and Explorer are the top of the line, yet have the least amount of features in them. This makes absolutely no sense at all. Why are there no HID headlamps? Cooled seats? Heated steering wheel? There should be a committee that sits down to have continuity among the brand.

TJ J I would recommend the Ford demographic product planning folks visit the Explorer forums, many comments about ommission of HIDs lighting from the Sports. I just placed an order for 2015 Grey Sport 401a and now I am rethinking if I will procure it when it arrives as I just drove some other comparable SUVs that had HIDs and they lit up the road like daylight. We currently have a 2013 Mustang GT and we love the HIDs lights.

Trevor T Regardless, the HID headlights should be an option if not mandatory. Hopefully, in the future there will be an option to outfit existing Sports with these headlights.

John K As an owner of a 2013 Explorer Sport, I realized before I bought mine, that the Limited was the top-of-the-line model and the Sport was just below it. Like you, I wish I could have gotten more of the Limited options, but I understand why Ford did this.
