After a 1 week rental of the ford focus Titanium, I have to say that I am totally impressed, and has changed the way I view Ford (in the positive direction).
To the point, I am now seriously considering the FOCUS ST when it arrives and look forward to the added power and excitement offered in the ST.
One concern I have is that the level of sophistication in the styling (ie. maturity) of the TITANIUM will be lost on ST. I'd hate to see the ST become a boy-racer car. It has the potential to rival the Audi A3 if the styling doesn't go too far to stand out. 2 Examples:
1) seating: the Ricaro seats will be great I'm sure, but I hope you will offer the black-on-black sets (shown in the ST's Euro-wagon version) in North America. They are much more tasteful than the yellow-on-black we've seen in the Autoshow model.
2)The ST's blacked-out vertical lines in the front grill actually detracts from the continuity of the aggressive hoodline (not to mention it's sophisticated good looks too) found on the Titanium.
Thanks for listening.

Darryl Comstock I just read your promo on the new Ford Focus electric. Nearly $40,000? Are you kidding? That's Chevrolet Volt territory! Not a chance! 6 months(s) ago via Ford Social
