My Ideal Ford vehicle would be an Expedition EL with a smaller diesel engine (current Power Stroke is too big for my needs) with a six speed MANUAL transmission. Cloth seats with benches in all 3 rows, cruise control, rear heat/ ac, AM/FM/CD Stereo, manual windows and door locks, and cargo doors on the rear instead of the lift gate. I don't need MP3 hook ups, 110volt outlets, navigation (I have maps for that), DVD players, XM radio, heat in my seats nor leather on them, a huge center council to collect junk. I don't need to be able to unlock or lock my truck from 100 feet away or start it from the next town. I just want a simple 8 passenger SUV, that is fuel efficient, large enough to fit my family comfortably and also fun to drive. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. I also think the $50,000 price tag is too steep for a middle class family these days.
