As a loyal Ford owner I would like to have the option of getting an eight-foot bed on the F-150 models. Right now the only F-150 I can get with that bed is the XT. I would like to have that option on the FX-4,Lariet,King Ranch, and Platnum.Right now if I want the eight-foot bed on one of those models I have to go up to the F-250 SUPERDUTY.
Also a question, what is the cubic inch of the 6.2liter engine.
The best Ford motor I've ever owned in the V-8 was a 390 cubic inch, but I must say that the 3.0 liter Duratech I have in my 2000 Taurus is another great engine too.
Whatever the 6.2 liter is in cubic inch think about bringing back the sturdy and strong 390.

Chester S I agree with Rusty ! I know that a 8 ft. bed is a better when I want to hall stuff to the job that help me to make my living. I am a journeyman carpenter and an extended cab is a must you have tools, friends ,family or pets . The 390 is a grate motor. I have one my 66 F100 but 10 MPG is the same as the 55 Jeep with it's flathead 6 and the 289 I put in it 40 years ago ,that is do to the gearing . 6 months(s) ago via Ford Social
