Right, that beautiful four door sports sedan with handling chops to take on Europe's best that also possessed a great deal of bang for the buck performance. Fast-forward to the brand new '13 Mondeo/Fusion and what better platform could there be to bring back the high performance Mondeo model? Priced and packaged right this car could really further distinguish the Fusion name here in states amongst mid sized sedans, and offer the enthusiast a practical alternative as a performance focused sports sedan that won't break that bank with economical, Ecoboosted power and added suspension componentry to make the most of going around corners. Make it AWD and whatever the engine modifications make sure the final hp figure starts with a "3" to put distance between itself and the top of the line Ecoboost 2.0 liter on offer. Sounds like a winner? Absolutely. Now get to work!!! x]

Ron R Couldn't agree more!! We need a serious sport sedan to go head-to-head with the euro competition. We have the parts available from Ford of Europe, lets use them. Remeber, they said ALL CARS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ALL MARKETS. 2 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Peter Klippel Agreed Topher. I had the chance to drive a German Mondeo ST220 back in 2005. What a great car that was! I think a Fusion "ST" would kill in the sports sedan market. 300 + HP, AWD, 6spd manual option. Then kick it up a notch and put out a limited Fusion "RS" with closer to 400HP.
