why hasn't the ranger had a remodel yet. the engines and transmission are out of date and can ford please make a 4 door model. i would love a 4 door truck that is small and fuel efficient.

Thomas Artman Yep, I posted a similar idea recently proposing the 2.5L and the 2.0L EcoBoost. The EcoBoost runs circles around the current 4.0L V6. Anything bigger would probably be overkill - the truck wouldn't be able to take it. Look at what they had to do to the F-150 in order to accommodate the 3.5L EcoBoost, with it's 420lb-ft of torque!

Erik Swensen Mark, I agree, it needs a refresh all the way around, as long as its still a body on frame setup and not a unibody. It should be powered by 4 new motors: 2.5L, 2.0 Ecoboost, 3.5L and for a high performance version, a 3.5 Ecoboost. Have it with 6spd auto or manual trans and 4dr. option

Tucker Stewart me and my family went to mexico last year and all there rangers were 4 door.
