pre oil pump
Have a oil pump that runs off of the ignition when first switched on like the fuel pump. It can be connected directly to the oil filter or oil filter adapter. This will pre-prime the engine and have 89% less start-up wear. This pump could be a high volume low pressure and mounted on every kind of engine. Just saying!.

Arturo Medina Good thinking Randy, but you also need to take into consideration the extra plumbing (more hoses that may leak) and that most quality oil filters (go Motorcraft!) have anti-drain back valves to keep some oil. i do agree that cold/dry starts can be detrimental to engines.
