A more off-road capable Explorer could find a nice spot in the market. Taking some of what the F-150 Raptor has done and apply it to the Explorer. Think something along the lines of the Nissan Xtera and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Add some more ground clearance (maybe air suspension) or fox shocks. Bigger tires. Keep the ecoboost engine. Performance apps for off-road travel. More aggressive off road style (optional brush guards and marker lights). Give the outdoorsman a off-road, ready go anywhere vehicle!
