There are a lot of products, like Superchips Flashpaq, for trucks that improve performance and gas consumption. Why doesn't Ford just offer an optional built-in programmer? Some guys just want the better performance while others also desire the increased quantity of indications a programmer offers. I'm a nuclear operator in the Navy, so I'm used to working in a submarine's engine room with scores of gages and meters telling me what the equipment is doing. I would like the same amount of information available for indication for my truck.
