No dead battery
By Glenn R Comfort / Convenience Idea Owning several late model Fords, I have encountered a problem on all of them that my dealer says is normal. The problem is the battery will go dead if the vehicle is not driven for about two weeks. This problem is worse in cold weather. My family currently owns and operates 17 Fords and this problem only seems to be on the vehicles with the anti-theft feature. Please help, this is very inconvenient. Could you possibly have a separate battery that keeps the computers and anti-theft alive but will not drain the main starting battery. Thank you very much.
