Mark D Agreed. Mercury should have been turned into a "small & sport" division instead of killed. With the ill-advised demise of Pontiac, the market is wide-open. A RWD Cougar & a compact, sporty Eco-boosted FWD Capri (heck, maybe even call it Lynx & bring back the "Sign of the Cat" ads) would be a great start.
