As FMC has so many other companies it can source from i feel that a melting pot of performance can be arranged, as seen in the focus XR5 ( in Australia) which has the 5 cylinder turbo motor from Volvo in it. Using home grown and international parts i would see a performance vehicle based around, my hometown hero, a F6 Falcon. The F6 already has the handling and braking package,to which we add a V6 twin turbo Jaguar engine, a DSG gearbox of some sort, maybe the 7 speed ZF would be a nice balance, and the AWD system and some cockpit eletronic goodies from the SHO. And there you have it a nicely balanced package utilizing some of the best FMC has to offer.
