On the new Ford Focus hatchback, add warming electrodes/conduit to the surfaces running between the body & hatchback to eliminate 'pinching' when ice buildup occurs in cold weather. When the liftgate is opened this hard ice currently gets crunched or pinched between the two components. Not good for finish, hinges or cladding.
