brad a oh, and I agree with making it AWD. A convertible option, mentioned elsewhere, would rock, too. 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
brad a What about a paddle shift automatic? 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
James J I agree, a Fusion ST powered by an EcoBoost version of the upcoming 2.3L TI-VCT @ 315-325 HP would be awesome. A 260-275HP version of an EcoBoost 2.3L should be the new engine for the Fusion Titanium. This would make the new Fusion a true game changer. 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Kelly R PERFECT!! Chris S. That's exactly what I envision. 2.3l Ecoboost rated at about 320hp; it already has AWD; sport-tuned suspension; more aggressive bodywork and grille (check out the CDC Fusion from the 2012 SEMA Show, love that grille); two tone Recaro seats; opt. carbon fiber inserts in the interior (dash and doors); 19" wheels; ST badging; it's a wrap. 5 months(s) ago via Ford Social
chris s Fusion ST - 3.5L Ecoboost or 2.3L Ecoboost (this would probably make it more balanced) with AWD, Brembo fronts, 6spd manual, recaros, sport suspension...That would be MONEY. I would be (1) customer! 6 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Wyatt F Is there any doubt this is coming??? We at the North American ST Owners Club are hoping not... we'd love to see a Fusion ST in the mix with the Focus ST and forthcoming Fiesta ST. 6 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Chad K I actually see them doing a Sport version, but I hope they ST it up. I doubt it'll have the 3.5L EcoBoost. Probably the 3.7 V6 currently in the Lincoln MKZ makes the most sense (same car).
Being an ST, it will be manual-only, which I'm fine with. HIDs, Recaro seats, a trick sport setup on the suspension and it'd be great. Hopefully AWD but also hopefully they bring the electronic trickery from the Focus ST to make it handle so well from a FWD car.
But the Fiesta ST will be first. 6 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Samuel J While we're at it, you can throw the 6.7 diesel in the Fiesta and have a compact car that you can tow 15,000 pounds with. Right?
The 3.5 Eco would not fit into the Focus, ST or no. I do agree with the automatic part, though, it would help me sell.

Tim S Make it AWD as well 7 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Monroe W They're almost there. I got the Fusion SE with the 2.0 Eco Boost and paddle shifters. The only thing missing is a bunch of ST logos on it! 7 months(s) ago via Ford Social
