Hey Ford, how about coming out with a rear wheel drive sedan with a turbodiesel under the hood? Mercedes doesn\'t seem to have any problem selling them, and Americans WILL buy them unless you do something stupid like change the heads on an existing gasoline engine and try to pass it off as a diesel. Make them as reliable as the diesel pickups and pull down 35+MPG in a full size car and Chevy won\'t know what hit them.
