Ford would sell a lot more Focus ST's and 2014 Fiesta ST's if you offered an automatic transmission with those performance models, preferrably with paddle shifters for manual operation override. That's available on most of your competition - Volkswagen GTI, Audi A3, Suburu WRX, MazdaSpeed 3, and Hyundai Veloster Turbo - why not on Ford ST's? I'm in the market and would love to include either the Focus ST or 2014 Fiesta ST in my verhicle search, but there's no way I'm sitting in rush hour, bumper to bumper traffic with a manual transmission! Tried that with my last car, never again.

Vance L I say they put I tricked out dsg like an evo. I've driven a manual evo Gsr and the auto and let me tell you No matter how good you are your not as good as that duel clutch. It should at least be a choice in my opinion. give me a break on the enthusiast crap. It's a front wheel drive 4 door hatch with mediocre horsepower. You want an enthusiast car buy a freaken miata. 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Andrew S Learn to drive a stick or deal with it. No automatics in the ST. 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Skitter F the ST package was never suppose to have a auto trans. How ever one could argue that Ford needs to offer a sporty engine in the Titanium package. 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Dean W Bad idea..... The ST is an enthusiast car and needs to remain a manual transmission. 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
