Bring back the Fairlane
The year is 2011 and it is the end of an era. Ford has finally shut down production of there last and only rear weel drive sedan. That car was the Crown Vic. It has served many law inforcement for many years. You can't go to any city without seeing a Black and White Crown Vic with police lights on top. But I belive that with the death of the Crown Vic the death of the rear weel drive sedan. I mean sure I know fuel econome is every thing now but how come we can't get a sedan that is as powerful as a mustang. But how is Ford suppose to compette with Mercades or BMW. I mean yeah we got the Taurse but with the SHO only pushing 335 how can you compette with a 550 some hores power BMW. I propose an idea. Lets bring back one of Fords best cars from the dead. My idea is to make a modern rendition of the Fairlane. Mustang power in a Taruse platform. Design it like the Mustang as a retore car. Add Fairlane stilling to it and plant the 5.8L V8 out of the GT500 but don't supercharge it. Make it rear weel drive and make it full efficent. The Thunderbolt is comming watch out BMW

Brad Barefoot How about a Fairlane Wagon based on the Fusion platform, we could have the Fairlane and the Country Squire. Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus and Yes Ford there are people who really truly want a station wagon based on the Fusion platform, not another SUV. The Grand C-Max was a 100% home run vehicle, how about a reprieve.
