Ford, you already have the parts. Put them together!
Engine-3.7L V6 from Mustang (315hp) or V6 Ecoboost (365hp)
twin clutch with paddles that work (SHO's paddles are garbage and stop with the stupid rocker switch) or Getrag 6spd manual,
AWD from Fusion Sport,
Recaro seats from Focus ST,
Brakes from SHO,
and don't forget to give it to Jost Capito for a few months of obedience class.
This gives us a great car and it saves you money. Give us a halo car for the Fusion line and allow us to take on the Germans.

Zach P Amazing Idea, but I think Ford should wait and put the new upcoming 2.3l ecoboost in the Fusion ST 1 months(s) ago via Ford Social
ArchitectMike Past owner of a V6 Contour SE, a V6 Fusion ST is the only model that'll keep me from (another) new V6 Accord. 3 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Ford G This topic has been waiting so long to be address i can barely stand it. If i didn't work at Ford...i threaten them with a "lost customer here", but sigh...still waiting.... 3 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Tom Ford needs to do something to get market share from the German auto companies in the US. There is no reason why a Fusion ST shouldn't be able to compete with a 3 series or the S series(Audi). Even Mercedes is rising to the occasion with sportier sedans.
The Taurus has an image problem as it is a big and tall car and the Focus is just too small for the "I made it crowd."
A 300+ hp Fusion with a great ride will bring out the masses. 4 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Dustin L Offering the fusion with the 3.5 EB would make the little car a monster, and fast enough to make most mustangs sweat, but it would still be a car that can at the same time be very expecting. I agree give us a car to take on the Germans with you made it beautiful with a bit of a resemblance to an Aston Martin so give it some go too. Anyone who has driven a fusion/mondeo has loved it so please give us a ST with a V6 no I4s, so I can watch the Top Gear guys do donuts on their track. 5 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Monroe W Wouldn't it be nice if we could buy a Fusion that outperforms the Taurus SHO and the Focus ST? They're so close, yet so far away! 7 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Casey C Please for the love of all that is good and holy, DO NOT put "flappy paddles" on any future ST products. In fact, please make a manual transmission an option on the Taurus SHO. 7 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Fox They wouldn't do it because it would canibalize two of their cars. Take this and that from the SHO and take this and that from the Focus. Then what's the reason to buy either of those other two cars? Might as well discontinue the two top trims on both the Taurus and the Focus then. 7 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Matt T PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this happen!! I love my 06 Focus Se, but I REALLY wish I had an option for AWD Turbo Sedan without having to go to an Asian or European car... 8 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Kelly R Or, if Ford wants to stay "green", what about using the 2.3 liter ecoboost from the rumored new Focus RS? 8 months(s) ago via Ford Social
Joey Great idea, it needs to have a 6 speed manual for sure. Maybe paired with the current 3.5 liter V6 putting out 288 hp. I currently own the 2010 Fusion Sport withthe 263 hp 3.5 liter V6 and it scoots. I can only imagine what it would do with a 6 speed manual and updated 3.5 liter. 1 year(s) ago via Ford Social
Nolan M I agree, there aren't enough good looking sedans with a manual trans that aren't rear drive 1 year(s) ago via Ford Social
Roberto p. good idea, but it's not going to happen. Ford is more interested in pleasing the green crowd. If you want an AWD vehicle with manual trans and all the goodies imports is the only option. 1 year(s) ago via Ford Social
Craig G I have always been a Ford guy, but more for tucks. After returning from Afghansistan and have to sell my 2004 F-150 because of fuel prices I ended up with a 2003 BMW. I would love to be in a Ford again and a High outpu version of this fusion that has a manual trans would be the perfect fit for me!!! Love It 1 year(s) ago via Ford Social

Daniel R Such a good idea. I wouldnt even care if they put a higher output version of the Turbo 4, just throw in goodies from the SHO and Focus ST and make sure to have a 6spd manual. Lines up perfect with the Buick regal gs. Please do this Ford not all of us want itty bitty focuses 1 year(s) ago via Ford Social
