Engine Heat to Power
I have seen stuff floating around the internet about starting fires inside special containers to charge devices. So why can't we implement that technology into hybrids? The engine will be built around these receivers to convert the engine heat into power. This would obviously not cool the engine but will help to trickle charge the battery of a hybrid. This could also be used in traditional engines to put less strain on the alternator and in turn use it less (saves gas). Not to mention this could be kept on and continue to charge the battery even after the car is parked (most effective on hot days). There is a lot of things we could do with this
