Build a modern mini-truck (pickup) since Ford doesn't have anything like this in their lineup, nor does any other manufacturer to my knowledge. Another carmaker (Toyota) came out with a concept in 2008, and never produced, that should be the inspiration for this idea. it would haul more cargo than just about any SUV/CUV Ford can make, while carrying 4-5 passengers comfortably and getting great gas mileage. It would be a very flexible platform that would carry Ford into the future and lead the industry with another first.
