2.0 L Turbo Diesel C-Max

Why is Ford not offering the Turbo Diesel C-Max in the United States?? This would be a great high mileage alternative to the Hybrid. I would love to buy one. I currently drive a Turbo Diesel VW Bug which I love but I would like an American Alternative. This car gets 45 miles to the gallon and it has enough torque to pull a class one trailer. Please bring the 2.0L turbo diesel to the United States.

Emil M Last June, I rented a Focus Sport with a 2.0ltd. Drove it 2,500 kilometers. Fabulously strong and great to drive, esp in the mountains! Mid 40's per gallon.
