Taurus Centre Console
After complaints regarding tightness for front legs in both the driver and passenger: Is it possible to reduce the width of the centre console? I saw the setup for the Police Interceptor and I think that's a good place to start. I think the Taurus is a wonderful machine and if this is one of the main sticking points, what's so hard about fixing it?

David L Now I freely admit I don't own a Taurus, but for a full week I rented a 2013 Limited in beautiful red. My entire family fell in love with the car and none of us wanted to turn it in at the end of the rental period (even my parents, who are 69). I found everything to be perfect with the car, from Sync to legroom. The car glides on the highway, almost like it drives itself, and I had no problem with roominess, and neither did anyone in the back seat. Of course, it all comes down to personal preferences.

CJ I disagree. I am 5'11" tall, and I find there isn't enough leg room in the 2013 Taurus I drive. I wish they could lengthen the Taurus to make the passenger compartment more spacious.

Jude A I'm a fairly tall guy (6 foot+) and find the interior of the Taurus, particularly the driver and front passenger areas, to be superb and spacious. In fact, rear space is a bit limited, but that hardly bothers me. The centre console that wraps around you is brilliant, I feel, especially with the new soft touch plastics in the 2013 model.
