Tailgate Extender
Often the beds of the pick up trucks are just a little too short to hold long cargo. The tailgate should contain an extender. Once the tailgate is down the extender could either come out from the inside of the tailgate or be hinged at the end and folded forward and down. This would provide an additional 1.5 feet of surface. Voila!

Jackie I like this idea because it seems to me it would be very handy at loading docks when unloading pallets at docks. Could have used this today and I am looking for something that would do just that.
